Purity is half of faith.
On the authority of Abu Malik Al-Harith ibn Asim Al-Ashari (RA) who said:
the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Purity is half of faith.
Al-hamdulillah [all praise be to Allah] fills the scale.
Subhanallah (Allah is free from imperfection).
Al-hamdulillah [all praise be to Allah] fill that which is between heaven and earth.
Prayer is light;
charity is a proof;
patience is illumination;
and the Qur’an is an argument for or against you.
Everyone starts his day and is a vendor of his soul, either freeing it or bringing about its ruin.”
Narrated Abu Huraira (Radhi-Allahu ‘anhu): The Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wa sallam) said: “Riches does not mean, having a great amount of property, but riches is self-contentment.” [Sahih Bukhari – Book 76: Hadith 453]
Abu Huraira (Radhi-Allahu ‘anhu) reported:
that the Messenger of Allah (salAllahu alayhi wa sallam) had said:
Richness does not lie in the abundance of (worldly) goods but richness is the richness of the soul (heart, self). [Sahih Muslim – Book 005: Hadith 2287]
